Terms of Service

1. What AwardBrain is

AwardBrain is an information and research tool for award travel. It searches published award availability across airline loyalty programs, applies a knowledge base of redemption values, and produces recommendations. It is not a travel agency, it does not sell tickets, and it cannot book, hold, change or cancel a reservation on your behalf.

2. No guarantee of availability or price

Award availability, award pricing, transfer ratios, taxes and promotion terms are set by airlines and loyalty programs and change without notice — sometimes within minutes. Availability shown in AwardBrain may already be gone, and “phantom” award space that a program displays but will not actually ticket is a known problem across the industry.

Every answer tells you how fresh its underlying data is. Always confirm directly with the airline or program before you transfer points, buy miles, or make any non-refundable commitment. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on.

3. Not financial or travel advice

Nothing in AwardBrain, its guides, or its briefings is financial advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to apply for any credit card or financial product. Points and miles have no guaranteed value, can be devalued at any time by the issuing program, and may expire. Decisions about credit applications, spending and point purchases are yours alone.

4. Accounts

You need an account to use the app. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Don't share one account across multiple people, scrape the service, resell its output as your own product, or use it to build a competing dataset. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Subscriptions and billing

AwardBrain Pro is $12.99 per month or $129 per year, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

The free tier includes a set number of questions per month. We may change prices or what each tier includes; if a change affects an active subscription we will tell you before it takes effect at your next renewal.

6. Guides and one-time purchases

Some guides are sold as one-time purchases and are licensed to you for personal use. You may not redistribute, resell or republish them. A purchased guide remains available in your account, including updates we make to it.

If a paid guide isn't what you expected, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund it.

7. Affiliate and referral links

AwardBrain contains referral links, including credit-card referral links. If you use one, we may receive a bonus or commission at no additional cost to you. This never changes what the tool recommends: award options are ranked on value, not on what pays us.

Our own referral programme pays participants 30% of payments made by users they refer during the referral's first twelve months. Self-referral, spam, paid search on our brand terms, and misrepresenting the product are not allowed and forfeit commissions.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be withdrawn. Third-party data sources may fail or restrict access, which can limit what the service can answer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AwardBrain is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed award space, devalued or expired points, transfers you cannot reverse, fare differences, or trips that did not work out. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Contact
